Hi, nice post, I am also interested in getting US content down here, I have been digging some methods and so far I have only found two that might work, the first involves hacking some satellites with FTA equipment, there is no way to hack US's direct tv, but I think that it is possible with dish.

The other, which I actually tried is with peer to peer iptv, there are some apps which let you do this, most of them are asian, and is a pita to get some quality streams, and even if you get some, most of them are actually asian versions of US channels, tvants come to mind, but it has been a long time since I tried using them.

I am still interested in the first FTA method, Ive met some guys at paruro who do this stuff, but I didnt had the interest nor the money back then to actually try.

Do you know if it is possible to get two or more clients connected to a single sling box? I am not american, and know nobody who could set up a sling box for me, but if you already have one I am sure that there are people willing to give away some bucks in order to get their american tv dose!!

You are right about the Puerto Rico thing. It is possible I've seen it in action. This is exactly how The Corner gets their US programming. I just don't know how I'd get a mailing address in Puerto Rico to setup on account there. Not to mention the expensive shipping costs of shipping the receiver down.
