The Transandino Train (Fetransa), concessionaire of the railroad routes, has officially informed Andean Railways and Inca Rail that starting in September they will be able to offer service to these historic sites.

Jose Koechlin, the President of Peru’s hotel Society (SHP), made a statement saying that many of the country’s 5 star hotels have been reducing their rates from between 30% and 50% with the goal of attracting more tourists.
