Jose Koechlin, the President of Peru’s hotel Society (SHP), made a statement saying that many of the country’s 5 star hotels have been reducing their rates from between 30% and 50% with the goal of attracting more tourists.

While it’s true that Peru is not nearly as developed as Panama, and does not have as stable of an infrastructure, this charming South America country has many plus sides.
